Poet's Pet Parlor provides the only 24 hour staffed care for your pet in Marquette County. Offering full service grooming, doggie daycare and luxury boarding, in a safe, fun, and homelike environment. At poets pet parlor, we treat your pet like our own.
I am the proud owner of 10 dogs, 2 cats, and chickens whom I love with all my heart. They are my family, and companions, and my inspiration for starting Poets Pet Parlor. I began as a dog groomer who wanted to offer cage free options for grooming and as my clientele grew, I was asked to watch and care for many of my clients pets who did not want to leave their pets at a traditional kennel. I expanded my business to include doggie daycare and now pet boarding that is aimed to provide the most homelike environment for your dog as possible. As an alternative to the traditional dog kennel, I have created a safe and fun environment where your dog can romp with friends in indoor and outdoor play yards, sleep in a home-like bedroom, or even sleep in an on-site apartment in bed with staff.
Poet was my first dog and namesake for Poet's Pet Parlor. He was an amazing dog who began my love for animals. He passed away 2 months after the opening of Poets.

Dogs will be required to be vaccinated by a veterinarian for Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella. Vaccinations must be administered no sooner than one week prior to boarding date. - A titer antibody test will also be admissible with written consent from vet.
Drop off times on day of arrival is between 6:30am and 6:30pm. Daycare day of boarding starts at 10am.
Completion of daycare enrollment form is required for any dog who has not attended daycare or boarded with us in the past. Please fill this document out prior to submitting your request.
Holidays & Peak Periods additional $3.00/day per pet. A 50% Deposit is required for all stays. ALL DEPOSITS MUST BE PAID IN 24 HRS OF RECIVING AN INVOICE TO HOLD RESERVATION.

Current daycare customers will have the option to stay and play cage free. We are staffed 24 hours and dogs will have comfy beds & leather couches where they can cuddle and watch a move. Designated quiet time areas will be provided.
